Hey guys I am interested in picking up a book about Lance Armstrongs life. I see there are a couple of different books. Which would be the best read? Doesnt matter if its written by him or someone else. Thanks

I don't know but I was at Barnes and Noble the other day and counted 7 different ones on the shelf. I'm sure there are more out there too.

I agree! "Lance Armstrong's War" is a great read - written by Daniel Coyle. The part on Sheryl Crowe's calves is too much.

Tour De Force
a bio of lance and the tour de france during the 2005 season, with a real interesting chapter on flyod landis
Lance Armstrong's War is excellent.

The best book about his life from his perspective is "It's Not About The Bike." Gives the best history of his life from childhood to winning the TDF/
The best book with insights to Lance and bicycle racing is "Lance Armstrong's War" written by Daniel Coyle. This book covers a lot of behind the scenes and personal issues and delves into a lot of background on the racing scene at the Tour etc...
Every Second Counts is good and is worth the read...but is more of a filler book on what happened after he beat cancer, became famous etc... IIt picks up shortly after where "It's Not About The Bike" leaves off. I'd suggest reading this third.
I would read Tour De Force last as it covers the last racing season of his career.
Hope this helps!

I enjoyed that book very much. I've not read any of his others (yet) to compare it with, so am interested in this thread as well.
"It's Not About The Bike"
"Lance Armstrong's War"
"Every Second Counts"
...in that order.
