Mountain Biking - Lockout on Fox Forx

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I was playing around with my lockout on my 100RL today and I noticed it doesn't completely lock out everything. I'm new to suspension and I was just wondering if this is normal. If I try to bunny hop with the fork locked out it will compress and decompress a little under pressure. I know there is a blow off, but I get a little compression even while doing some sprinting and heavy pedalling.
any thoughts? the rear lockout work really well though.

It should do that. I believe it is designed that way so IF you screw up and leave t locked on a drop there is room for error...
Don't bunny hop with it locked...
There is still 30mm of travel while the fork is locked out to prevent spiking and blowing up the fork. You should not do any stunts with fork locked out.
