Too many stop signs, too much rerouting and poorly marked detours up around Carmel, other than that, it's OK, but I prefer something that'll let us roll for a while!

Oh yes....before I forget, the idiot drivers around the area!

Not to mention tons of peds, joggers, pet-walkers, skaters, wannabe racers and POSEURS!

The Monon really isn't a bike trail. Try the Cardinal Greenway through Muncie if your in the area. It goes through the country side and has very little traffic.

Check this out Tom. I took a couple of pictures of the Cardinal Greenway.

I hear this is a good place to eat!

This is the end of the trail for now.

We're planning to head over to the Cardinal Greenway again Thursday!, Maybe tomorrow.

Quick edit was to correct the trail name! Monon on the brain! (There's a scary thought!)

Coming from Kokomo I went to check out the Monon and really enjoyed it. I ran into some Team Mack guys and rode with them a bit and it was a good thing due to the construction. There Detour is horriably marked and the road was fairly busy. In Kokomo we have no bike trails so it was nice to get some riding in without having cars fly by you barely giving you room. Once I got past Carmel it wasn't bad and just think all the stops just wake your legs up a bit :D

Yeah I like to think of trail riding as interval sessions.

One thing about Monon is in some intersections is it just me or is it hard to tell where the Monon went. A couple times I was like WTH where did the trail go. :D
