So today I went for a ride through PVE......beautiful weather, cool, clear....uncrowded.....

according to the news i saw, she pulled off the road into a parking lot and had a siezure. that's when she drove over the edge and fell 250 feet. she spent the night in the car, climbed out the next morning walked down the beach 'til she got cell reception and called 911. the rescuers found a dead body about half a mile from her of a man who fell or jumped off the cliff.

That's not what I heard on the news. The lady did a phone interview and said she pulled off because she was lost thann she got bumped from behind and goosed the gas pedal sending her off the cliff. She said she wasn't wearing her seatbelt because she wasn't driving at the time and that she was ejected out of the vehicle as it tumbled down the cliff. She was knocked out for some time and spent the night hanging onto the cliff side and was spotted by some walkers in the morning. Story sounds fishy to me.

the mother of the crash victim was at the scene as the car was being pulled up. she said that her daughter had stopped in the popular turnout, taken her seat belt off because she was lost, and was bumped from behind by another car. to me it sounds a little fishy because they area is SO popular with suicide attempts (in fact when they were looking for this girl they found a dead man in the same area from a suicide jump). Either way its a miracle she lived and her mom seemed very happy her daughter was alive for Christmas :)

I heard she parked her car and a band of elves robbed her and threw her car off the cliff, but a fairy, who happened to be strolling by, pulled her out of the wreckage and sent her back to Kansas.

i went by the area again today to ride and i noticed that she just happened to have gone over the cliff in the EXACT 8 feet of cliff that isnt protected by large rocks and a tree. those large rocks were put there to prevent people from driving over the cliff. they are spread out over about 150 yards. kind of a coincidence that she managed to go through the only 8 feet of cliff that doesnt have the rocks :(
