View Full Version : Laundry
So does anyone have to lug their laundry to a store?
also note the rubber band to keep my loose clothing from the chain.
Looks like you solved the laundry problem. How far do you have to ride?
I'm a wimp. I used to walk or take a bus, or even ride in a friend's car to the laundromat. Now I'm lucky--free use of laundry is a perk from my wonderful new landlord.
I do have the options of using a shopping cart if I wanted to.
It is only a 1.2 miles.
I think the bus would be a hassle only because it is so full of people. I try to take as many clothes as a human can.
Well I rent a guest house for 450.00 and the location is second to none.

I use the cargo trailer (aka kiddie trailer modfied)..
I get lot's of stares when I pull into the laundry..and they think there is a kid in there!
I also do small loads sometimes..when get a ride.
Another thing is I try to own less clothes these days..Quailty over Quanity!
I only have to go like every month.
More of a lazy thing.
Well I bring my bicycle into the laundry store (no bicycle rack) so I'd rather just use my bicycle.
If I had a longer commute I would get another month's worth and use a trailer.
One nice thing is no matter how many clothes I have it only takes an hour.
One nice thing is this is a coinless Laundromat.
How far is your laundry commute?

I used to stuff the laundry in my backpack and take it to the laundromat.
Right now, I'm lucky and I use the one in the apartment complex. It's just a short walk away.
I too used to use rubber bands for my pants. Now I use a nylon ankle band with a reflectorized coating that closes with velcro. Much more convenient and safer.

I am a loser!
I loose things to easily.
