Looking past the window sill. Through the open panes of glass. I smile as I look upon an empty drive way. Simple memories of being alone to absorb the still morning. This creative independence. Distant from her reaching needs. These adept thoughts creating synapse in one’s head. I no longer work for her. I am removed from that adjacent atmosphere. Removed and now strong I wonder to myself what will become of my adventures. Will they torment me? Will they try to grab me from my movements? I refocus on the scene before me. Curious as to what others think of my success. This string of exercise and sweet sweat. Which will ensue with my routines. Another open journey awaits out my front door. The time I create erases the need. The time I work is for me. No more selfishness. No more greed No more. I am a hero in a hero less world. With out regret only joy. I stare blankly at the empty drive way. The time is now. Now ready to save the world with each stroking pedal.

i came up with one today when i had about 10 psi in the front, kind of Haiku:

Good neighbors are good and bad neighbors are bad,

if your tire is flat then the tire needs to be inflated.

Nice poem, thanks for sharing.

My fave has nothing to do with bicycling at all, but I always loved this romantic gem and sometimes recite it when I ride (so I guess it has something to do with it). Call me a cheese, but I think it's beautiful.

Bend low oh dusky night
And give my spirit rest
Hold me to your deep breast
And put old cares to flight
Give back the lost delight
That once my soul possessed
When love was loveliest
Tonight

Nice! Best thing about not having a car radio I say.

Yep I read it at an open mic to a bunch of motor drivers.
I made it while I was doing the laundry of course looking out a window of the laundry store.

I am glad evveryone enjoyed it.

finding ones way
meandering through
paths known and
unknown
smooth the ground speaks
to me beckons
and calls until
bumps and
ruts
i slip and hit
my nuts
