Man this thing is sexy! It came with clipless peds and mavic cpx rims. What a hot deal for $550. Just goes to show you, back in the days quality defined a company, now all they want is your $.

How the hell can you say back in the day was 4 years ago. Another example of a phrase that needs to die.

(in an old mans voice) Back in 2002 our bikes had to ride on the ground. No, no children. Sit down I'm not lying this time...

4 years is now "back in the day"? Dang. I didn't even think that my ride qualified for "back in the day" status at almost 17 years old.

naw man me 19. Plus its just a phrase i like to use. u like it when sum1 poke fun at a phrase you like? I actually don't care cuz its just funny to argue ova funny little things like a phrase you think is wrongly used. Dats why we have opinions and i aint knockin yurs but in actually i agree i used it wrong but who cares ehhh ehhh? (lol - now im canadian)
plus what i really meant was the good old times of the 60's -80's things. Now we all know those bikes back then will last longer than these bikes today will. quality back in the day.
the pista had better things on it then than it does now. quality (ex; mavic rims, wellgo(but these are kinda cheap, i know but come on... its clipless on a moderate priced frame... can't find that too often)

OK, I'll try my best to solve this riddle.

No man, I'm 19 years old. Also, it is just a phrase that I like to use. Do you like it when somebody pokes fun at a phrase you like? I actually don't care because it is just funny to argue over funny little things like a phrase you think is used improperly. Thats why we have opinions, and I'm not knocking your opinion, but in actuality, I agree I used it wrong but who cares? Eh? Eh? ([laughing out loud]Now I am Canadian)
Anyhow, what I really meant is that the good old times of the 1960s through the 1980s things*. Now we all know the bikes back then will last longer than the bikes today will. Things were quality back in the day.
The Pista had better components on it then than it does now. Quality (ex: Mavic rims, Wellgo(yes, they are cheap, but come on, its clipless on a moderately priced frame ... you don't find that very often))

*I can't make any sense of this. Also, the years listed are before this person was born.

I almost did the same thing, solving the riddle by rewriting it. Weird, and yeah, I still don't really understand what it says.

well you should read and hear how the english first sounded, you would think i was an oxford graduate. the english we think is proper now is evolution just as we humans supposedly evolved from monkeys
see thats the problem with the American culture system. we focus too much on every single word instead of the idea(s) behind it. middle eastern culture has high context meaning while american has low context.

o rly, wel y dnt u go 2 tha libary n find a buhk dat techz about da inglsh n whut it wuz lik so u cn lrn us al.

The fact is that the language has evolved, and I couldn't even understand the idea behind what you were trying to say. And Americans don't speak "proper" English, we speak a dialect of American English which can be further divided into more dialects depending on the region you live in.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is...
Dats why we have opinions and i aint knockin yurs but in actually i agree i used it wrong but who cares ehhh ehhh? (lol - now im canadian)

i like your style kiddo. can we be frends? lol. naw i hear you but i lyk makin anotha form cuz it keeps the brain sharp through good old common sense and logical brain use. idea was: it seems to me as time moves on and technology advances, companies don't put in the "love" and craftsmanship which is what really defines the character of a company. Now quality goes down and prices go up. Ex: Charms lolipops. "back in the day," the size was larger than it is presently. Now only could you get a better made lolipop with more loli but it was also cheaper. fastforward to today and you got 25 to 35 cent pops which are about 10-15% smaller than they were "back in the old days"

I think you're imposing this idea of companies using "love" and craftsmanship with inflation and need for the dollar. Charms lollipops were bigger and cheaper "back in the day" because the raw materials cost less, and they could afford to put that much into them. As time went on, the value of the dollar decreased, so the raw materials cost more, and they had to sell them for more money to make a profit. the marketing/budgeting gurus at Charms probably realized they would have to make the lollipops smaller and raise the price.

Point being: Anything made by a corporation has no love involved. If you want love, get a girl/boyfriend or buy from artisans.
