It's hard enough to wash the crap off the roads, I will be able to ride this weekend! I don't have a winter beater for poor conditions.
For those who don't know, if you don't clear the streets within an hour after a snow storm in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, you don't get re-elected mayor. So they put down about an inch of salt for every inch of snow and that will wreak havoc on my drivetrain. If you don't believe me, have a chat with ex-Hizzonor Michael Bilandic and Jane Byrne.
