Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Het Volk - Van Petegem proves age is not a factor
KBK - Roesems after a quick collarbone heal
San Remo- Zabel takes #6? after Pettachi misses the train
Flanders - Boonen trifecta
Roubaix - Hincapies revenge
Amstel- Boogerd's swan song
Fleche- Valverde repeats
Liege- Sanchez in a 4 man sprint
I'd go ahead and predict Fleche brabancone and the Grand Prix E3 and all the others, but I actually have a life to run back to.

Wow picki'n a lot of the old folks aren't ya!
I'm going with Boonen for Robaix, he got his arse handed to him last year, not this time.
San Remo I'm picking Bettini, matter of fact aside from Robaix I'm picking Bettini to win everything! ;)

I am going to wait a little bit longer before making any serious predictions.

Het Volk - Tom Boonen, this will get people talking about Flanders duels
KBK - Peter Van Petegem, leads a early Belgian tear, close last year, makes it this year
San Remo- Zabel, because it's a feel good story
Flanders - Paolo Bettini, he says he wants it so he'll probably get it
Roubaix - George Hincapie, this could be the year
Amstel- Cancellera makes another crazy technical break ftw
Fleche- Samuel Sanchez, because it's really unexpected
Liege- Alessandro Valverde ftw, but gets a close run for it
[B]Gent[B]-(it's a classic in my books :p) I'll take Boonen again
Not sure about rider attendance for these so do forgive me if I select a rider who is actually not racing said race. Cheers!

I'd love to see George win roubaix, but I have to say I was very disappointed that he threw his trophy out the bus window for that one race this year. That was not classy at all.

I thought he left it in a bar? Or did the bar owner rescue it?

Not a prediction, but I'd like to see Di Luca get some results this year. Nothing went his way in 2006, since he placed all his eggs in the Giro basket.

Cmon, we're not putting money on this, just a bit of fun as the cyclocross/six-day/operation puerto things are getting old. Roadie purists unite!
My anticipation for Het Volk is gaining momentum as December closes!

and the fact that his drugs could have gotten held up in a spanish police station over the summer

Di Luca kicked ass on stage 5 of the Vuelta.

I sure did. Why take 1000-1 odds, when proven winners come through time and time again.
I'm going to add Steels to Gent-Wevelgem. That's his race and he doesn't want to retire on the way down. Is that old school enough.

Right, forgot about that. Though we're talking classics here, no? Seems like he had a rather poor showing, compared to the previous year. Again, due to preparing for what he thought could be a Giro win. It is to laugh...
Seems like several riders went all out in the Vuelta this year, after disappointments earlier in the season. Made for a much better race than usual. Along with "Mr. Juice" Heras not being there, of course.

Cancellera and Voight make a clean sweep. One and two each time.

He threw it out the window of a bus and the owner of a local bar found it and has it on display now.
