OK, now what...

Every time I change sub-forums, I have to hit the update key.

The same thing happens with my Yahoo home page.

Why won't it update automatically? I don't have this problem at work, only at home.

I'm sure I hit something accidentally, so I have no clue what I did.

Thanks!

What are you using? IE or Firefox? Sounds like the option for load from cache is clicked on.

Thanks!

Using IE. You assessment makes perfect sense, and that's what I was trying to find

Where would I go to change this option?

Think this is what you need to check/change.......

Dragracer, excellent set of instructions there...

..but i don't have those pulldown menus.

The line File...Edit...View..Favorites doesn't exist.

Yahoo changed the layout of the home page, now I can't find anything.

Use Google as your homepage! http://www.google.com in the internet preferences in start menu>control panel> internet AND NETWORK CONNECTIONS>INTERNET OPTIONS. Set your homepage

First, start using Firefox :D

But until you're convinced, go to Tools --> General --> Temporary Internet Files --> Settings. Make sure the "Every time" option is clicked for check for newer pages (not automatically - the auto doesn't always work). Delete all your cookies and temp files while you're there.

I'd also set your default page to "about:blank" It will load a lot quicker.

[oops - just saw that attachment]

Look in the top right corner of your screen, you should see an icon that looks like a box in a box. That should make the menu return. If not then hit "Alt-t" and the Tool menu should pop down.
