This is the story of him getting hit on the 19th. He passed away this morning and never woke from the coma. That's a bit of a mercy, in my opinion. His head injuries were bad enough that his life probably never would have been normal. He did have a helmet, but wasn't wearing it. His head hit the curb after being struck by a car. The driver is under arrest on charges of Vehicular Homicide.

At least they're charging the driver. If only all the other families of fallen cyclists could be so lucky.
