Im afraid it wouldn't fit on mine (I wear a large helmet) because it's for kids.

Pffft. Cheaper, and easier. Yes, I've actually been on some cold and wet rides where riders have busted out shower caps to put over their helmets. They say it makes things nice and warm/drier, without making them sweat up a storm. One of these days, I'll have to try it.
