What's the holiday season without a box of chocolates?

Here in CA, nothing beats a box of See's candy.

If there is a nibble gone from the edge of one of these luscious treats, I know Ms. Eubi has inspected and rejected it. It's mine.

When I take a candy, I leave beind the little cupcake-style wrapper in the box. It gives a good indication of what has been.

Ms. Eubi, on the other hand, removes the empty wrappers and throws them out. What is left is a disorganized jumble of the candy that is left, along with those chocolate crumbs that I haven't picked up yet. Those brown crumbs against the white box look so messy...

So, what is your preference for organizing a box of chocolates, empty wrapper or not?

leave the wrapper in the box....not sure why, but it just seems RIGHT.

I SO much miss See's candy!!!! Don't have that in these here parts.

I'm staring at a box of See's right now. I take the wrappers out, but I never move ones that are left - so they retain their shape, and it starts to look like a half-done puzzle :)

Hi, Eatadonut! My stepson's mom lived in Norman, and taught at OU.

I like to leave the wrappers. That keeps the uneaten candy somewhat organized, especially if there is a "map" saying what is what. Just my two cents' worth. :)

I'm not really into See's-- Godiva's holds the key to my heart. That said, I really could use some chocolate at the moment.

Almond Roca was a Christmas morning staple when I was (truly) a lass. Also a staple was the emergency gift shipment from England of the Cadbury's Christmas packs. I can't eat Almond Roca anymore, as I get migraines from almonds. So I make do with SEE'S! Got some right now. Along with the ENGLISH from ENGLAND Cadbury's fingers.

Everyone is making me quite homesick today  .

But it is raining in Puget Sound, so I feel better.

Leave the foil in the can...what in the world for? Slows down grabbing the next one.

And there's no way grandma would ever let me remove the little paper cup from the candy box. It's a placemarker.
