I had a dream that my sister and her boyfriend decided to do me a favor by adding couplers to our tandem. They snuck out our tandem and took it to some rinky dink bike shop. Somehow I found out and freaked. By the time I had arrived, they had already sawed our beautiful frame in 2 or 3 pieces. I was extremely disturbed and when I saw the couplers, they looked like a bulky metal switch that you could flip on and off if you bumped it. I knew it wouldn't work and that our beautiful bike had been destroyed! What a crazy dream!

Don't lose any sleep over it!:rolleyes:
S&S couplers are quite the shiz. Our tandem has them and they work fine. They have never come loose unless I use the spanner on them.
The couplers also make the tandem easier to transport if you want to tandem "out-of-area", or ship it somewhere.
That is terrible!
I had one where we were almost run over by a farm implement;

It was a harrowing experience
Look at the bright side. In your dream, they could have been lead couplers plus a disinterested Clydesdale stoker.
I thought that it is the pilots that are like that- Not the Clydesdale bit but Pilot has had family commitments for too long now.
