I may need to pick up a fork for my racing bike. I was thinking of the Reba Race/Team/World Cup or the new XC fork from Fox with 100mm and 32mm stanchions. (can't remember the name) I want something light and reliable. Any other recommendations are appreciated.
I'm not sure what your budget is but if it will allow you to spend some serious coin check out the Fox F100x. I have one of those and one of the F80x's and I am very impressed with them, especially the 2006 models. I just don't see how there could be a better cross country race fork.

When it comes to my racing bike money is not an object for me. I was thinking of the fork you mentioned anyway. I'm just about to head down to the LBS and see if they got one. I will then proceed to abuse my credit card.
Shoot, meant the 2007 model's are the improved one's......sorry.
I really like my Manitou R7.

From what I know, the fork that is most commonly use here in Malaysia is Rock Shox and Fox. And so far 07 has been a good start for fork manufacturer. They have improved from previous year issues. Just not sure about Manitou though. I forgot if its their 05 or 06 is their best year because of the R7 fork. Pros like it but some riders dont. I dont know why though.
Your current choice (Rock Shox REBA) aint too bad but if you want a cool fork that will make people go like "I want that FORK!!" (like me : saw a guy rode a Fox F100X the other day) Fox is the way to go. Too bad Fox doesnt sell their forks in different colour, I like the Black Fox F-series that Specialized use. Rock Shox does offer variant colour of their REBA so if you dont think Fox White is suitable with your bike, choose Rock Shox :D
