So i was at the skatepark today with some friends having a good session, and one of my riding buddies said he was going to be building up a new freestyle bike (he races too...) and that he was selling most of his parts. He has a fairly new set of Profile race cranks on the bike, and said that he wanted around $20-30 for them...
I've always wanted Profiles and these are a great deal. The only issue is that they are bent a little bit, but not as bad as my current Primo cranks. It's basically Profile race cranks with the flush mounth bolts and flush washers.
I figure it's a good deal, and if they bend more, i'll just try and warranty them or use my Primo's again.
Also, if i take the cups off the bb wont the bearings fit into my midd bb?
Oh, and happy holidays!

They should.
Also, I wish there were deals like that where I lived, I just have crappy cranks right now. But i'm pretty damned sure i'm getting Fly cranks.

Good deal. Get them and warranty them. $20-$30 for brand new profile cranks sounds just dandy to me.

They are not brand new, they are slightly used. And a bit bent, but not as bent as my current cranks, so i figure it's worth it. And i don't feel the "bentness"

even if you did feel the bend, you would get used to it in a jiffy

After you warranty them they are brand new.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't have the papers. He got them for free from a local bike shop he races for from what i understand. But either way, if Profile are uptight about their warranty, i'll just ride them until they bend more, and then get new arms or whatever.
