Yeah, so I got these really sweet Egg Beater ti pedals from my folks for the holidays:

Problem? They look so good in the box I don't wanna put them on the bike! :) (We do the gift exchange thing a little early around here...) They should tell you to order 2 sets so you can keep one in the house to admire and one on the bike to use.

I think you're style of riding is just a weeeeeeeeeeeee bit more aggressive than mine. For XC, they're beautiful. :)

I have eggbeaters on all my bikes and I'm not a mountain biker. Great pedals. Elegant in design and function.

You have the 4ti pedals, right? :)

In terms of price/gram, the 2tis just didn't make any sense over the tis, and the 4tis were far too much to ask for as a gift. I would absolutely love to have the 4tis... so if you'd like to trade, I'm up for it. :)

I think, truly, these are now the nicest components on my MTB. Sad, really.
