SS/FG forum, form up.
What kind of spline do you use for Bulletproof cranks, JIS or ISO? The 110 mm ones, you know. More to the point, is there anybody who uses them with Shimano BB's? That would be ideal for me, as the French say.
JIS. I think I rocked a 108mm BB with the chainring on the inside.

Trifty nifty. 42mm chainline, then? Perchance I'll go for that. I was thinking about setting it up with a 103mm BB and setting the chainring to the outside, though, but we'll see how the cookie crumbles, I guess.
According to sheldon's site, the bulletproofs have a 47mm chainline in the outside ring with a 107mm bb. Running a 103mm bb, will give you a 45mm chainline. You would probably have to go with a 113mm bb and the inside position to get about a 42mm chainline. (the 110mm bb is asymmetrical, the drive side is the same length as the 107 and the non-drive side is 3mm longer).

Sweetness. At first I wanted to avoid putting the chainring on the inside spot, because quite honestly I think it looks terrible just having the inside space on a double crank filled. However, the solution has just come to me in a vision...
Chainguard. Yes! Anyways, thankee much for the BB information (a Shimano 113 sounds good.) Bike Forums and its worthy constituents have once again saved my day.
