...well, at least as far at this forum goes :) (On average, I do about 1200 miles a year)

Recreational rider from southwest suburban Chicagoland joining in on the fun. Looks like there is a wealth of talent and information here to learn from. Looking forward to picking up many tips.

Been riding bikes since I was a kid many, many moons ago. Want to get more serious next year to help in diabetes control and weight loss.

Hello AJ, we have at least a couple of members who deal with those two issues (diabetes control and weight loss). In particular, Tom Stormcrowe has a few links in his signature dealing with both! Tom can easily be found in many forums, but this one is a speciality:
