I got duped into this upgrade when I bought my Stumpjumper from a LBS 3 years ago. A Noleen Mega Air 100. It's a nice fork except for a couple major issues:

1. The outer slider seals are shot. My shop kept telling me they needed to get an overhaul kit from K2. Of course they never did.

2. After a long ride the air inside expands so much that the preload is hard as a rock (yes, it has the proper pressure) and the fork is pretty much useless until it cools down again.

I'll admit it was an unnecessary upgrade , but I was young and foolish and have learned from my mistakes:o It's been an ok fork but I'm really disappointed with my LBS's lack of support, which is why I'm looking into replacing the fork and never patronizing this particular shop again. Before I get that drastic, does anyone know some good online sources for Noleen service? I checked K2's web site and since they don't make the fork anymore they have nothing useful. Any people here have some first-hand experience with this fork? If so, any maintenance tips or should I just trash it? Thanks in advance.

Jon
