sweet:) whats the travel supposed to be on that puppy? I'm not complaining or anything but why does Marzocchi need another fork in their DH/Freeride line...or is that a wicked xc fork?;)

Dosent really look like it has more than 170mm........but it is all black and has dropouts like a boxxer. Cool!!!!!:D

Under careful inspection it looks like the lower crown is bolted on which is sweeeet and it looks like the top cown is also the new baseball cap one. It sort of looks like the stantions are beefier also but that might be becase their black.....and maybe they increased tire clearence:D

It is a dh/freeride fork. 8 full inches.
They are going to use it instead if the Shiver. They will still sell the Shiver but it has a lot to be desired as a dh fork. The new one will have more travel, be about the same weight and a hell of a lot stiffer. It is going to be a cross between the Monster and the Shiver.

Well the only to riders to have the fork right now are Tracy(she is the one in the pic) and Fabian from the Kona Team. Since they ARE Kona riders I am sure they will be up around your way to test it out.

To bad the course was not technical enough for them to break the forks out. Anything ove 6" of travel on that course was overkill. I am hoping that they will be running them at the Nationals in Big Bear in a few weeks. Maybe talk them into letting me give 'em a go.:D

Yes, very true. I knew a lot of people that road hardtails on the course. My friend ran expert in and placed 4th in his age group.

The fork is amazingly light also.

8lbs isn't really amazingly light.... Boxxers are under 7.
