Well, if I can't make my annual goal, I can at least celebrate other milestones as they occur. Today I crossed the 3,500 miles mark since returning to cycling 18 months ago. This is my special Santa "helmet" you see here -- a little foolish to be riding without a real helmet, but lots of fun to have the kids waving at "Santa." EDIT: sorry, didn't realize the pic would be so large!

Kudoes DG! You've traveled equivalently across the country and out into the deep briney Atlantic. Betcha make landfall in France by next July for TdF, equivalently. Anyway, good going.
