I know the Tour of California is going to get some tv coverage and hopefully OLN (Versus, whatever) will still pick up the TdF after last years mess, are there any other races getting coverage in the US? I'd like to catch the classics and other grand tours.

Versus provides decent covers most of the major races (with the notable exception of the Vuelta this year).
www.cycling.tv is a good site to look into.

Not having TV, I have to use internet coverage. Cycling.TV is the place to go. Coverage of both the Giro and The Vuelta this past year, they got a lot of the spring classics, semi-classics and other races as well. Plus you an watch highlights in the archive and my understanding is that there will be full download capability this coming year as well.

I was actually quite disappointed with Vs/OLN this past year, with their coverage of the Giro. Sunday recaps, and nothing during the week? Like they couldn't have shuffled the rodeo and fishing shows just a little bit...
ALL DAY with the damn fishing shows. My god...

Sadly, the ratio of fisherman to cyclists is like 20:1 in the USA.

Don't forget the World Championships of Barbecue...or sadistic rednecks seeing if they can kill wild pigs with air rifles :p
It still beats the pants off the CBS coverage of Le Tour though.
Sadly, the ratio of fisherman to cyclists is like 20:1 in the USA. Nonetheless, I find it astonishing that people watch it on tv. I read 8 mil watched some fishing championship on espn, and that the lakes in which the comps take place are filled with spectators in boats. What exactly is there to see?!?

My god. How could I forget.
I wonder if it would help if all of us would write letters and emails now, and then again right before the Giro and Vuelta. I can deal with the Sunday only showings for the Classics, but not the stage races.
