Just wondering when the mountain trails start to become ridable again up there ? I will be making a trip to the area in spring and I wanted to be sure I could ride.

Spring might be a stretch. We would always wait until June or July to head up into the Bitterroots. It's not uncommon to find snow in late April or early May.

But, we were through there for Christmas and noticed there wasn't a whole lot of snow on the ground. Keep an eye on the Weather Channel, because it may be a late winter in the Northern Rockies.
