I ordered from 11speed (who did a great job on the order in terms of price and ship time) Campy Record components and Zonda wheels and am building up a Specialized S-Works Roubaix. I came across a tool that I do not know what it is used for. It is a black plastic ring with slots marked A B and C, along with a rod with a small silver piece that is magnetized and a small bolt with a flat head and no slots. I have enclosed a picture for reference. Thanks for the help. George

Tool on the right is used to drag the nipple in place when replacing a spoke or building a wheel. Screw threaded part into nipple drop thru valve stem hole and use magnet to drag into place.
Tool on left might be for spoke twist prevention for bladed spoke wheel building.
Tool on the left is a spoke wrench made for three sizes of nipples.

Could the circular not be a guage? To determine the width of the spokes?

Just as a point of interest, how you do disengage the threaded part from the nipple to retrieve it from the wheel (obviously the magnet will retrieve it again after disengagement)?

These rims have an inner wall tube bed with no holes for the nipple to feed through but the part of the rim wall facing the hub is drilled for the nipple to project through. The nipple sticks out far enough to both grasp it to unscrew the tool, screw it onto the spoke and to apply a spoke wrench to tension and true the wheel.

I gathered it was for undrilled inner walls; it was the orientation of the tool on the nipple that I wondered about, especially as the shiny bit at the end of the tool (presumably the magnet) appeared to be quite large... too large to fit through a spoke hole. But I will take your word for it. :)
