I'm 60 yrs. young and, as a result of a cardiovascular wake-up call, a bike rider again. I commuted to work in the early and middle 70's via bicycle, but I foolishly gave it up. I'm starting over in Florida and I ride a paltry 6 miles/day, but at least I keep up a very fast cadence. I'm using a 10 year old Trek 700 hybrid which, while adequate in many ways, makes riding into the prevailing winds tough. Hope to get a road bike and get up to 15-20 miles per day.
