BMX - Help with the value of a mint 1977 RACE, Inc. bike.

Hello all,

I'll be 40 in a few months and although I'm not a collector of any sort, I still have and ride the one and only BMX bike I've ever owned. A metallic blue RACE, Inc. frame with RACE bars and forks, Araya box rims, Bulls Eye hubs ... well you get the picture. For a 1977 bike it had the best of the best. To be honest I don't really have an interest in selling it, but within the last few months three people have wanted to buy it. Can anyone give me what it is realistically worth?

It's worth exactly what someone is willing to pay. I wouldn't pay more than $50, but someone else might want to pay more.

Uh, I was at work, and needed to check my mail. Learn to appreciate the fact that if the server craps, I'm on it as quick as hostgeekz. The forums is a 24/7 thing for me. I get messages on my phone at 2AM about this site. And this is volunteer work.

Your phone is teh suck. :D Mine has Windows on it too, and a keyboard. If I didn't need all that for a business I've been working on, I'd still have my crappy Razr.

No, I have a razr, but my mom took away texting- I can't even receive them. It's not like I was a textaholic either, she was just too lazy to get me a $5 plan.

The Razr is a pretty crappy phone. Thin, stylish, useless! I never really cared about phones, as long as they made calls, that was good enough for me. But by some odd luck, I got this one pretty much for free, and it happens to have several features that I can really use. One of these days, I'll transfer some DVDs to the SD card, so I can bring movies to work...

Yeah, the razr was good at first, but now it's failing me quite a bit. For some reason the audio is a bet skewed. It's not like I've beaten it up a lot, I mean, I haven't played a sport or gone riding with it in my pocket.

I wonder if they're going to make phones into buttons like on star trek... they could if they took off the keys and screen I think.
