Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums and recently started looking for a bike to commute/exercise with but have no idea where to even start looking for one in my area aside from only being here about 6 months.
I'm looking for a light lugged vintage single speed road bike for about $200 or so, I actually just missed a perfect one on ebay and realized I wouldn't know where else to find one. Sorry for sort of turning this into a wanted ad but if anyone has any leads (!) :D
I kind of wanted to just get one and ride but I wouldn't mind doing a little work on the bike or converting and cleaning if necessary, but it would be my first time doing this type of work so I wouldn't want to tackle anything I'm not able to. Are there any cool local shops I can go for this? I found two bike shops driving around but they don't deal vintage.
Thanks
