Introductions - hello forum!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. i have just recently been introduced to this forum...
i read a number of threads before i signed up, and i can see this forum is great and healthy!

well, i live in south-east asia. I am a cycling enthusiast. I ride everyday, but never joined any races since. I have been riding since I was a kid. Got a BMX when I was 6. Got my first MTB when I was 12. and my first road bike when I was 14.

Well, I stopped riding for several years -- i admit it. I'm now back in the saddle, since last year actually. And so much have changed..

I generally ride on road... and sometimes the "occassional off road."

I am a Mechanical Engineer by profession. I design and build frames for fun -- recumbent frames to be exact.

Right now I am in the middle of a project.. I am building an experimental road frame.. my own geometry--so i call it.

Its great to be here!

Welcome to the Forums, dexmax.
Your engineering expertise will come in handy on threads like this one (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24988&highlight=inertia+and+wheel+and+weight) and this one too (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17589&highlight=inertia+and+wheel+and+weight) .
Perhaps you can give us a sneak peak at next bicycle design ;)
