few grips get more stylish than this, and offer the ridiculous grip and control that these have. only gripe (haha) is that they aren't lock-on. you should see the detailing... little s's at the intersections of the nice chunky, grippy rubber.

I love your choice in cables, I had them and they were the lightest i've ever used.

haha i actually tore down my bike in preparation for my new frame, hence the lack of cables. and why the bars aren't attached to oh, a 30 pound contraption of welded metal tubes.

Yes, but what grips have a cooler name than the Kona Jack $hit$ ?

I'm pretty happy with mine, but I kind of wish they were lock-ons.

I've been using Specialized Durangos on my bikes. I really like them, and they're cheap, so when they wear out, I can get another pair for about 5 bucks. Grippy and I've never gotten sore hands or bad blisters like I have with other grips.

Lock on? What is this 'lock on' of which you speak? These MTB terminologies are so alien.

Oury ODI Lock Ons here. Might take them off and use cinelli bar tape instead.

I love the Ritchey grips with the raised center.. everyone who gets on my bike hates them though..
Cheap and great grip, they work great with gloves with the pads on each side and not too bad bare handed.

+1 for the Ruffian. Every other grip I've had twists on the bars. Yeti and Pedros are the worst for that.

Lock on grips if my memory served me correct means that at the end tip of the grip there is a nut where you can tighten it so that your grip will lock onto your handlebar, In other terms, you wont need to wait a couple of hours to get your normal grip to stick onto place on your handlebar

And you don't have to cut them off when you need to remove grips to work on your bike for some reason. You just loosen them, slide them off, fiddle-fart around, and put them back on.

Why do you need to cut off your old grips? I've always used a small long screwdriver pried into the end and water/mild detergent mix and always comes off easily
This is a good thread on grips though!

I had Specialized Enduro grips on my old bike and loved them. They're great grips for being non-lockers. I picked up a pair of lock-on ODI Rogue's this Fall while in NC. I don't think I'll be going back.

I have ODI's as well, but I prefer the Rogue, not the Ruffian! A bit more squishy!

I've got Rogue's on my hardtail...they are squishy, I'll give ya that. I think they're a bit fat/clunky for my taste. When I saw the Lizard Logo's, I thought they looked too slick but they're really grippy.

I may go with some Yeti Logo refills for my Lock Jawz next time. I used to run those Yeti's all the time back in the day. I love them.
