If you were going to Las Vegas and wearing a suit, would you:

(a) wear a tie
(b) do not wear a tie
(c) wear a tie AND sneakers

wear a Dale Ernhart t shirt denim shorts and some wal-mart sandals.

but if your going out at night don't forget you clear mirrored sun glasses.

and really don't wear a tie and they might not let you in some places with sneakers even if your wearing an Armani suit and tie.

In matters of sin, a tie adds +5 to Dexterity and Charisma.

Only in LA may you legally wear a suit and sneakers.

If yer gonna wear sneekers, they must be Chuck Taylors or checkered Vans. Period.

as far as the sneaker thing goes if you are planning and going to clubs and or super lounges they might not let you in if you are wearing any kinda sneaker.

I was with a friend who was wearing a Armani suit and Chuck tayors and they would not let him in to a club AT ALL. stupid I know, but something to think about.

The real question is... What time of the year is it?
If it is the summer you will not want to wear a tie. In fact, you won't want to wear a suit. But hey what do I know? I lived there for a few years. It gets hot there in the summer. 105-115F

If the suit cost over a grand, you can get away with no tie. If its a cheap suit, you gotta wear a tie and nice shoes.

I stood in line next to Roman Coppola once and he was wearing a tux and chucks. You too, can pull it off if your last name is Coppola.

Also if you are going in "heavy" you can go sans tie.

Just so everyone knows... Prostitution is illegal in Las Vegas. So don't go there and pick one up thinking it is legal.

Next year I'm going to try and head out early to do the alley cat; I can't imagine what racing across 8 lanes of traffic would be like..

Personally, I'd kick myself in the ass for going back to Vegas. I sorta hated that town (and no, not because I lost a lot in the casinos).

Well, the Eurobike guys withdrew from Portland within a couple months of promising to dethrone Interbike. I was totally stoked on the pacific NW rather than the taint of the universe, Las Vegas but there's something to be said for having a convention center that freaking large. I swear it took me 10-15 minutes to walk from one end to the other (it's connected to a giant hotel, casino, and mall.

Vegas really does suck. There are so many reasons I don't even think I could count them.
