Only every day. 9 times out of 10, it's me I want to smack. That other time, I try to walk away. I don't always succeed, but I usually do. I understand exactly the kind of frustration you are talking about, though - it has, on one or two occasions, made me literally hopping mad, as in jumping up and down (hard) to keep from going totally postal. In retrospect, it's a pretty silly visual, except for the fact that I am also large and can yell *really* loud.:o

Usually in these cases someone need's to swallow their pride and apologize.

Been there, I feel for ya man. Now I'm a programmer and spend alot of time working in someone elses code. They aren't here to smack on the forehead, but I regularly wish I could.

I do that too when I try to explain things to myself. Leave yourself alone, it's less painful :D

Okay it's all good now. I'm done with my rant. The person and I are cool now. But still......he drives me bonkers sometimes.

ah it happens....I got a guy here at work like that. He's just worried he will mess up, that's all. It bugs me to high hell having to practically hand-hold him through stuff, but it could be worse and have someone that jst messes things up. his work is exceptional quality...he just needs to learn to be more sure of himself, that's all.

Just today while waiting in line at the store. There was only one lane open and the lady at the front asked five times if the popcorn in her popcorn tin came in bags. Doh. The whole line wanted to smack her.

Let's put it this way....i want a device that works over the internet that allows me to pimpslap people at the press of a button.

Currently, I think the top three are:

Rush Limbaugh: he annoys me.....plus I think it would be funny to see him get into a huff over it...then have everyone find out he's been net-slapping people too.

The plant manager: for having a "work harder, not smarter" mentality, and forcing it upon the workers....actually I'd like to have that key macro-bound to every key on my keyboard.
