Hey guys, I have a Reload bag which I love...BUT, I live in Seattle, and every hipster and his sister has a Reload abg, so i am looking for something a little harder to get. I want some kind of Japanese bag, do you guys have any ideas of brand names, or places to buy them? I know Shop Gentai is getting SAG bags...which look SICK, and I would liek to get one. DO you ahev anythign about these bags? Good? Bad? Thanks again!

http://www.w-base.com/onlinestore/ has Resistant bags, although I have no idea if they'll ship internationally. And you might be screwed if you can't read Japanese :)
Or, there's only one of mine in the Seattle area :)

Why would this be a joke. I want to get something a little more rare than what is all over the streets of Seattle.

what's so special about japan?
why not support a small, local bagmaker?
Sorry, but R.E.Load makes a mighty fine bag. So, if you're looking for something fresh, go custom. Or at least don't downgrade from R.E.Load.

^NICE go steal his plates and then you will have some street cred
EDIT: I was thinking about it and it might be tough to find some NjS mounting hardware for that plate you are best going with 5 kashimax tt protectors
The Kashimax TT protector isn't NJS stamped.

it's a navy blue beamer convertible coupe.
I hear Japanese bags match your shoes better. I can't wait to get my $450 Japanese bag!! It's going to match my never worn Dunks perfectly. SICK!
Ha. That guy sounds like quite the ****** face.

I like my Reload. It is custom. But my roommate wants to buy it from me, as he needs a bag. So i figured I'd try to get something Japanes cuz i like the design of those bags which I've seen coming out of Japan. Can anyone give info on the SAG bags?

I like Bagaboo (http://bagaboo.hu/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1&lang=en). Not Japanese but you can get a completely custom bag; send in your own design and they'll print it or pick from a few they have or pay to have one of their artists do up a nice design for ya.
The guys over at fixedgeargallery did a review (http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/reviews/messengerbags/) of a few bags and Bagaboo got high remarks.

For the ultimate in custom, and you can guarantee that no one else will have one exactly like it, make your own.
Amazing what a Google search will reveal.
Yeah, but that wouldn't show all of his new cohorts his desire for teh underground stylez.

in seattle, even riding a fixed gear is rare. all the college kids see things on craigslist such as... *10 SPEED FOR SALE 20$ MAKES GREAT FIXIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
and then they either ride them as the same bike or take the derailleurs off to make a half-a$$ singlespeed.
anyway, dont worry about what bag you get so much, as long as its not a timbuk2. EVERYONE has those. even if they dont ride a bike.

freitag bags, made in switzerland from old cargo truck tarps. the 'classic messenger' models are expandable and have a waist belt, and no two bags are alike because they're cut out pieces.
unique enough?
