I finally said screw it to apple and my sh!tty Ipod after getting sick of warrentying them.
Today I picked up a Creative Zen Vision: M, because it's supposed to be simple to use and reliable.
I installed everything, but my damned computer wont recognize it when I plug it in, it's getting power and everything, but it wont turn on and I cant put files on it. When I open the file I have a little message that says 'Your player is not connected please connect your player.'
What the **** am I missing here? Surley it doesnt have to be fully charged for the computer to recognize it?!?!

In disk manager is it being assigned a drive letter? You may need to explicitly tell it that the first time.
