At my Bike Commuter's Meetup (http://bike.meetup.com/132/), we've started a new monthy feature where we turn one person's morning commute into a group ride for whoever else wants to come along. It's nice not to be alone for once, and over time will give us all a taste of other commutes.
I just led our first one this morning, on my commute (http://bike.meetup.com/132/calendar/5338250/), and had two other guys join me. Interestingly, they were both riding fixies, while I had my good-weather 21-speed, but I kept looking back and seeing them keeping up just fine! (And I thought I was in such good shape...!)
I mention it because I think it's a cool community-building idea that others might want to try.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
