Get better parts.
or attack it with a drill.

And if you upgrade your frame to this, you'll totally knock off like 4.5lbs!!!

I looked at the title and that's exactly what I thought.
EDIT: Define better. Drilling holes in your bike will make your bike lighter, but not necessarily better.
Shop around and reaserch stuff.
Example:
A McNeil Pivitol seat/post combo will cut near a pound off your bike.
Getting a set of lighter rims(not hubs unless you have the money) to something like Hazard LT's or Primo Balance will drop more weight.
Changeing from Haro bars to Ody, Sunday and other bars(like the new S&M Slam XLTs...only 1.6lbs) will cut weight...nearly 1.5lbs in some cases.

not neccisarly(sp). most stock rims on haros are single wall. getting new rims will only make it heavier

haha and add that weight to your wallet
Become a better rider, and you won't need a lighter bike. If your bike was 10 pounds lighter, there would still be someone out there that can ride better than you on a bike 10 pounds heavier.

i was actually thinking about this the other day.
eventually you would have to run out of better people and someone would have to be the best

Doubtful, depends on who is judgeing.
Mirra was the Park king(and he isn't bad on street), but now we got guys blowing up...like Edwin on street. And look at Bruce Chrisman (brakeless and freecoaster)...insane.
On any given day anyone can be the best. Just depends on who watches it and judges it.

That was just an excuse to stop by and "show a little bit of love". If you catch my drift. ;)
EDIT: I can see your wife creating an account on here just to yell at me.

She's Australian. She'd chew you up and spit you out. Some punk called for my daughter, and got smart on the phone with my wife. Said he had a big "thing" for her, blah blah blah. We went over to his house 11 at night, she knocked on the door, and made his friends drag him to the door. She looked him up and down, said "So you're the one with the big... I don't think so". That boy was cut down in front of his friends.

Excuse my AIM sayings but 'lmao'. That's great. Why would someone get 'smart' with your wife anyways? That's just incredibly stupid due to the fact if you aren't good with the parents, you're never going to get to their kid/s. I think that is the greatest event I have ever heard of. Props to your wife.
i want a family picture.

Half of these pros and riders today aren't any good in my opinion. For example, dirt competitions are a joke. Half the pro's that are in them couldn't flow a REAL set if trails and do their "big tricks". Plus frontflips, backflips barrel rolls and all that other bull **** looks gay.
I would much rather see a nice motowhip over a hip then some pro jumping it with no style doing some frontflip. I was watching clips from the CFB or whatever at the Matt Hoffman park and the last jump in the set had a two way hip lander thing and half the pros would jump it straight.
The real best riders are the ones that can still keep their flow and go high along with these "big tricks". I'm talking like Morgan Wade for example. Edwin is really good, and so is Crisman too. But Mirra, sure he can do the big tricks, but his riding doesn't impress me.
EDIT: I forgot to mention last years X-Games where Mike Aitken managed to do that huge mother F-ing 180 lookback over the last set, but got like last place. Not only did he make that look like a million dollars, but that has to be way harder then a frontflip.

If it doesn't say on the website, how are we supposed to know? I'm guessing the bike probably weighs around 30 lbs... it would probably go to about 28 lbs without pegs.

Haha. Yeah, you don't usually just buy parts because you just want to, wait until something breaks and then replace it with something better.

Well, you could buy parts for me, and ship it to my next door neighbor and then I will send you money in a bottle due to the fact that my mother refuses to buy me anything bike-related.

Haha, probably easier for someone else to do it.
My parents were the same, i had to get my I.D forks sent to a friend because i wasn't allowed to let my parents know. They've lightened up now though (no pun intended)
