I can't say enough about the Giant warranty dept. My original rear hub, (Formula), was trashed within a year. They sent me a brand new wheel including disc rotor within a week. That wheel with another Formula hub is now acting up. It's been nearly two years since I bought the bike so it's well out of warranty. But I had Tom at Cycle Extreme, ( Cycle Extreme (http://www.cyclex.com) ), call them anyway just to see if they would do anything about it since the hubs have been such a problem. They are sending me a new Crossroc wheel with a Mavic hub for under 100 bucks. Not a bad deal for being out of warranty. They could easily have said TS and been within their rights. Many thanks to Tom for doing this for me also. I didn't even buy the bike from him. Tried, but he didn't have one and couldn't get one.

Amen - they replaced my cracked frame (2001 NRS-1) without a question...

Darn! I should have followed up on the chain that fell apart after only 900km when I first got my Giant MTB. I just replaced it myself.
