BMX - help identify bmx bike

I am trying to find pictures / identify the mbx I had as a kid.

This bike was unique because it had dual top tube that went from the stem to the stays using 2 thinner top tubes instead of just 1.

I liked this bike because I could do the crucifix trick very easily (had plenty of room for my feet on either side of the seat tube).

Please help ????

i don't know if they still make bmx bikes, but i know they were a few years ago and they still had the double top tube

It was similar to that, however it was not a torker, it had a different brand on it, (one of the major brands at the time, maybe 15 + years ago).

It did not have the diamond section securing the dual top tubes together, it was completely open in between... =(

Nobody here really knows much of vintage bikes.

But at some point I stripped it and painted over the decals so the name was erased from my memory...

It was purchased at a bike shop brand new for $ 300 (?) not sure, my brother bought it for me...

Sounds like an older Haro or Redline. Look at Haro and Redline from the mid 90's or so.

But, yea look up Haro and Redline for the mid-80's till early 90's I'm betting you'll find it.

I had a Master that was like what you described.

I am almost 99% certain that it is a 1st gen style Haro Freestyler of some variation.

I am just having trouble finding the exact bike in the same color with the same components as my original.

I don't want to buy it, I just want to look at it for the memories.

Sounds like the original Haro Master...had the split tube and the most popular color was the "dayglow" green, blue and white. Made famous by DMC, while Wilkerson rode the Sport and Brian Blyther the FST. If I remember correctly it was about $350-ish in 86/87 time frame. One of the first to go w/the flip up front pegs in model year 88 and I think the decals changed a bit that year as well.

One of the all time great rides IMO.
