Got a sweet frame for free, and am looking for a steel fork to use on it as a singlespeed.
The headtube is 27cm end to end, A stem I have needs 4 cm of steerer, a headset probably requires 1cm?
Kind of want a disc brake mount as well, but really just want to put a fork on it so I can strip my other fixie and ride it. oh yeah it needs a 1" steerer. so it needs to be about a 350mm steer tube? how many spacers do I really need?
it had a custom fork, but the fork was cannibalized w/ all of the campy stuff by the finder. I might just ask to send the word out to get the orig fork and get the guy whatever to replace it, he put it on a 59 or so cannondale.
checked out salsa and surly is an option. thinking someone out there knows a hidden gem. threadless preferred, but anything goes.

The longest steerer available is 24 cms. His headtube alone is 27 cms.

I have a threaded chromed steel fork that is the size you need. I bought it from a bike shop that was closing. If you are interested PM me. I have never seen a bike that would use this long of a steerer, but it will probably work for you. I believe it was made when schwinn mass produced huge frames. It has a decent looking crown and it is practically brand new.

I have a chromed threadless 1" one that has never been used, it has a really long steer tube. PM me if anyone wants it, I think its on the heavy side.
