Mrs Stormcrowe and I got our last ride of '06 in today. Started out to be a little five miler that turned into 20! Here are a few pics from the ride, which went through the Indiana Veterans home on the road segment and all of Lafayette's Greenway system. I was behind the camera, so no shots of me!

My kids and I got out on Christmas Eve, but now we have about a foot of snow on the ground, it's still falling, and the snow plows aren't keeping up. Unless things get a whole lot better fast, even my fat tire tandem isn't going to be up to the task. There's some hope of sun tomorrow, and that'll clear the streets pretty fast, but I'm not promising anything. <g>

I did a 30 this morning, but forgot to take pics.

A camera is something I just never even think of taking unless I'm doing longer distance tours - I should work on that (new year's resolution?).

I got a nice 30 miler in on the road bike yesterday, then did another 18 this morning in the mist and fog on 'old reliable'. Hopefully I'll get a ride in tomorrow to work off the pork, sauerkraut and dumplings my mother is gonna serve for dinner!

I did an hour and half on the ss mtb this morning, trying out my new 2.5 WTB Weirwolf. I then got my bikes all setup for the start of a new year. Changed my track bike from 45/14 to a 49/19 so I can work on my spin, purchased a new hr monitor, and installed some easton bars and stem on my KHS 320.

Sounds kinda similar.

The monkey & I headed out onto the local forest roads in some drizzling rain just after dark & wheeled for about 2 hours.
'Cept I'm wheeling 2.3 Exiwolfs.
Also wrenched up on my fleet of junk, so I'm ready to roll.

I'm home sick but needed to get some fresh air so I went for a short 5 miler on my '80s mtn bike just now. Didn't bring my camera but what a nice day! Stll feel sick though.
