Local craigslist has a "1986" Waterford Paramount with dura-ace groupo, Viscount saddle. 12spd. I'm awaiting pictures. Supposed to be pearl white and in cherry condition. Just for comparison what would be a fair price? Did Schwinn make Paramounts in 86?

I'd be a little cautious...supposedly that bike already sold on eBay. It seems worth about $650 if it is indeed Waterford (check the serial number!)

She is gorgeous! According to the local seller the winner did not follow through. I'm now lusting after the bike but my spousal unit is extremely upset about $300 carefully spent on a wheelset, tires, and several important items in November [birthday month, no less]. In that time fame I disposed of exercise equipment to the tune of $210 so I'm not feeling too guilty.
