***Stage 1: The Prologue***
Sunday January 7th.
Start/Finish - 2835 N. Christiana (1 block east of Kimball)
Registration opens 7:00 a.m. and closes at 8:00 a.m.
First rider leaves at 8:15 a.m.
$5 (or $25 to register for all five stages at once)
This year's prologue will be a two checkpoint time trial. Riders will leave the start at 1 minute intervals. The course will be an open route to the Metropolis Cafe (1039 W. Granville), then to the Swim Cafe (1357 W. Chicago), and will finish back at 2835 N. Christiana. Riders will be timed individually and then ranked according to their times. Drafting other riders is strictly prohibited (drafting cars and buses is kosher).
