Because they can, it's the American way. Basically, it's the same reason Hot Dogs are $4 at the ballpark.

I hear ya! My wife wanted to see the Goo Goo Dolls at the House Of Blues (New Years Eve/New Years), and tickets were $150 :eek:
We are used to going to shows there for $15

I guess it would depend on how badly you want to spend the evening with a bunch of people you don't even know. Now I've heard that that kind of thing appeals to people and that they're willing to spend money on it. As you can tell, I'm not that kind of person. Enjoy. :)

its a matter of environment...I'm not going alone, obviously with my girl but I guess at this point might as well spend it elsewear because this was the place I wanted to go to :(
