I have found that a lot of shops say that the Dura Ace 7800 10spd chain MUST be installed using Shimano's chain tool #SSXSA2. I just installed mine using my Park tool and it seems ok. Does the Shimano tool do something special that my tool did not? I would hate to find out the hard way I did a no-no.

The Park Tool will work fine with Dura Ace 10 Speed chains. Just make sure that the Dura Ace pin is installed per the Dura Ace instructions.

The Shimano tool is very nice but the Park tool works fine as long as it has the correct size punch.
