Here's what we did! We barely made it past midnight, due to rain coming in, however, we were in the saddle from 2006 to 2007! We rode the Cat tail trail in West Lafayette.

We can tell the back side of the storm is coming in, the temperature was dropping like a lead weight on Jupiter. Wind was 20 mph and gusts to 40. The ride was FREEZING! Mrs Stormcrowe had a wind/exercise induced asthma attack. Tough gal that she is, as soon as the inhaler worked and she could breathe again, we were off. I suspect this may have been due to the need to exercise to get warm. I know it sure was MY reason!

Well, off she rode. heading toward the Lilly Nature Center, located in Celery Bog. As we got over near Purdue Campus, the clouds were starting to blow in again and the air was cold and getting colder and damper by the second, so we headed back to try to beat the rain.

It was a fun ride, though, in spite of the miserable wind and damp. We loved crossing the years and think as long as conditions are conducive to any kind of riding, it'll be a tradition!:D

Way to go Tom!

I went for a short trip after midnight just to be able to say I did.

That's a nice tradition! Those vests really do show up at night.

Glad you had a reasonably good ride. It was about 68F when you went out, 66F now. Drizzly.

Happy New Year to you and the Mrs! :D Have some Veuve Clicquot, from the Foo Party!

Yep, that vest sure does! It's slung over the back of her recumbent seat. Yes, it was fun, but the hot cocoa I'm drinking right now with a shot of Brandy sure tastes good and is warming me up nicely!:D

Well done!

I think I would have been arrested had I attempted to ride my bike. Actually - I still don't think I'm sober enough!

Scotchy, scotch scotch!

Me too, I just attended the foo party, celebrated with a soon to be relative on yahoo, and fought the busy phone lines trying to complete an overseas call.

West LaFayette. Should I guess what university you are attending Tom?
