I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out if I should have my fork painted. I'm having a custom frame and fork built by Igleheart. The frame is going to be dark red with all the components black (wheels, seat, stem, pedals and so on.) I think it's going to look killer. But I can't decide what will look better, the fork painted the frame color or just black to match all the components. What do all of you think?

I may be a retro-grouch, but it seems to me that the fork should be the color of the frame.

black is off the shelf, if you're doing custom, get it match the frame. can you get a custom stem too?
