Dawes Giro 400 vs Claud Butler Milano

I'm new to this game. I Have been wanting a bike for a long time but never got round to it. I've decide to splash out the cash and finally get one, but I need some advice.

I've narrow'd it down to 2 bikes that I'm interested in the Giro 400 and the Milano, both on respective pages.

They appear very similar to me but is there anything i should know about or anything better out there for the same money.

Cheers

Both seem to be good value entry-level road/fitness bikes which can be used for fast rides and races. They dont have fittings for rack and fenders, so are unsuitable for commuting and you will get quite wet and dirty during winter training.
The integrated headset looks good but is not such a good idea.
Check how they might fit you, esp the length of the top tube + stem which gives the horizontal reach from saddle to the bars.

Both seem like they are a bit expensive for being the lowest end of campy. You might want to look at univega. I got mine with veloce and daytona for the same price. just my two cents.
