Thought I would say Hi! Older native of Seattle Washington and even the rain gets to me on occasion and have to dry out at least the old bones so found this forum while doing so. But I know it will soon be time to GET (on my bike ) and GO (anywhere). Have to keep folks guessing weather I am in my second childhood or it’s just senility setting in.
Welcome to bf BK 1066. Be sure to check out the 50+ forum.

Hi BK 1066. Welcome. Hopefully it'll stop raining soon around here. It was sure coming down today. After the holidays, it'll be nice to get out and get some exercise.

Hi BK and welcome to BF. Glad you found us.
I was going to chastise you for using the "o" word but since you're 2 years older than me I decided to let it go this time. ;)
Heck, I'm still a kid most times, especially when on the bike.
I understand what you mean about having to dry out occasionally.
I went to high school in Olympia and remember walking to school in the rain almost every day (from mid-September to mid-April). This was way back when. Before the days when everyone got to ride the bus, regardless of distance. I lived about 1.5 miles from school. If I lived ~2 blocks farther I could have ridden the bus.
Some days I got lucky - it wasn't raining. It either just ended or was about to start.
You might want to stay away from the 50+ forum. Lots of "old" people there.

Well BK, you certainly haven't had a chance to dry out the last couple of days. It's still coming down pretty nicely here. But eventually it'll at least warm up and we can always ride in warm rain. It's that cold rain that's not so happy :( . That, plus I think where I normally ride is flooded. Time for pictures!

First, thanks everyone for the welcome. Yipeee, happily got a ride in today. Just delivering stuff. shopping and a library stop but no rain and I still remembered how to ride. It’s true even I didn’t forget after two weeks.
