Just introducing myself as a newbie on this site. I am here for the typical reasons: get some advice and insight for someone just starting out in triathlons. I have a lot of running experience and used to mountain bike quite a bit, although it's been about two years since I've done either. Tri's seem to be a challenging and interesting way to get and stay in shape.
Road bikes are new to me and it's definitely a different feel from mountain bikes. Anyway, I'm 32, live in the MA/RI area and looking to learn about riding, fixing and caring for my new (to me - used from eBay actually) Cannondale Ironman bike.
Cheers
