General Cycling Discussion - Lance is having twins???

Did anyone else hear this??? Lance's wife is pregnant with twin girls. :thumbup:

Yeah, he mentioned it a few days ago while being interviewed during the Tour De France. In fact he told Bob Roll that he had the name of one of the girls already picked out but still needed to come up with a name of the other daughter.
He mentioned that originally they were expecting a Boy and a Girl.

Pretty well kills any excuses about riding today doesn't it?!?! What an amazing story this guy is!

I wonder if any of his kids will be pro riders

Simply amazing. I'm glad that he was blessed with twins. I think even if he lost Tour de France, he'd be pretty happy with the good news of the babies. Even so, I think this news would make him strive to win the race, I would think... :)

He's definitely up there in my super heros list. :) Right along with my old favorite Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Danny White and Roger Staubach. ;) I rarely follow supports anymore (I get quite emotionally attached/depressed when they lose). I think it's that quality of integrity and honor, that makes him one of my favorite athletes.

In his book "It's Not About the Bike", he talks about going to the Doctor before radiation treatment to fill a jar full of the super human batter.
